Famous for its picture-postcard, honey-coloured villages, The Cotswolds is one of the most quintessentially English and unspoiled regions of the country and has officially been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Hidden in the valley of the River Windrush are the villages of Minster Lovell -with its thatched cottages, fine 15th century church and derelict manor house (site of the Three Dreadful Dooms!) – and Swinbrook which appears to have remained unchanged for centuries.
A traditional pub lunch will be on offer at one of these stops.
``Glyn guided us on the tour of Arundel Castle, then booked us at the Black Rabbit for lunch then on to Brighton Beach. He was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge as he was a retired police detective in London so we asked him a lot of questions! I would most certainly book him again. Wonderful, patient, nice, funny......``
